We’re very excited for you to join us this year! Truck Festival 2019 is now just around the corner. Please take a minute to read everything you need to know about this year’s Festival.

Opening Times

Thurs 25th July (Early Entry Ticket Holders) – 15:00
Fri 26th July – 10:00You can leave and re-enter the site as you wish throughout the weekend – keep your wristband on – No re-entry with alcohol

What to bring

TICKETS – Please print and bring your tickets with you
CASH – Most Bars and Food stalls will be offering contactless card payments, however we advise bring some cash just in case. There will be ATM’s on site.
ID – If you are under 16 then you will not be allowed entry into the festival without a responsible adult (21+) We operate a strict challenge 25 policy at all bars. Passport, Driver’s Licence, Validate UK or Citizen Card are accepted. Photocopies will be accepted to prove you are older 16
REUSABLE BOTTLE – Remember to keep hydrated. There are plenty of water points inside the festival

Traveling to & from the festival
Please bare in mind there will be thousands of people traveling to and from Hill farm, so please make sure you have a firm travel plan (Both to & from the Festival).

If you want to avoid the queues we’d recommend avoiding the following peak arrival times of
Thur: 16:00 – 19:00
Fri: 08:00 – 12:00

By Car

For those of you with a handy sat-nav, or a good old fashioned map, getting here couldn’t be easier.

Please use the postcode OX13 6AB this will get you to within a hair’s breadth of the festival, then follow the traffic signs to get to the festival site.

For those traveling from south of the festival on the A34, please use the Chilton Interchange.

For those traveling from the north of the festival or from Didcot, please use the Milton Interchange

There are two travel routes into the festival, please see the map below

If you are a General Weekend or Campervan Ticket holder you MUST enter through the Red Route via Featherbed Lane. If you are using the Shuttle Bus from Didcot Parkway or being dropped off, you will also enter through this route. Please follow road signs marked with a RED dot on approach.

If you are a Zodiac Fields, Family Campsite, Glamping or Access ticket holder, you MUST enter through the Green Route via Steventon, Church Lane There is strictly NO Pick Up or Drop Off through this route. Please follow road signs marked with a GREEN dot on approach.

If you have purchased a Parking Pass in advance and received a Red Route Car Parking pass and intend to say in the Zodiac and Family Campsite. You must still enter through the Green Route.

 

By Train

Didcot Parkway Station is on the Great Western Railway line and you can get there direct from Reading, London, Bristol and South Wales. There are then connecting shuttle buses or taxis direct to the site. Please check train times before you travel.

Drop off & Pick up point

The Pick Up And Drop Off ONLY is located in the General Car Park and is ONLY Accessible via Featherbed Lane / RED ROUTE.

Glamping, Zodiac Fields, Family customers who are being Dropped Off will be guided through the site to their campsite.

By Shuttle Bus

Thames Travel will be running a Shuttle Bus service to and from the festival site from Didcot Parkway, for times and locations click here or see below. Tickets will be £3.50 Single or £5 return. The bus service will drop you off in the General Car Park. Glamping / Zodiac Fields / Family customers who arrive by Shuttle Bus will arrive at the Main Box Office, you will then be escorted through the arena to their respective campsites

Conditions of Entry

Admission is subject to search. Management reserves the right to refuse admission

No Knives or Weapons
No Glass
No Dogs
No Flares, Fireworks or Smokebombs
No Selfie-Sticks
No Disposable BBQ’s

If you are under 16 then you will not be allowed entry into the festival without a responsible adult (21+). Maximum 4 U16’s per responsible adult.
We will be implementing Challenge 25 at the entry gates, so have your IDs ready (see below for accepted forms of ID).

Drugs

Obey the laws of the land. Drugs are no more legal at a festival than in the outside world. Should you be found with either a controlled substance or herbal or legal high at the point of entry you will be denied entry and handed over to the Police. Should you be found within the festival site with either a controlled substance or herbal or legal high you will be ejected and handed over to the Police.

Tent Capacities

All of the tented stages at Truck have a maximum capacity. If you want to see a particular artist, please arrive early to the stage to avoid disappointment. Once the tents have reached capacity we will be enforcing a one in one out policy. If you cannot get access, we recommend you go and enjoy an artist at an alternative stage.

Welfare Information

Truck Festival has First Aid and Welfare facilities. If at any time you feel at all unwell during the festival, please find a member of staff or security who will be able to assist you.

Whether you’re a festival first-timer or a veteran of parties in fields, it’s worth checking out Festival Safe before you get to Truck. Put together by festival experts, it’s a one-stop shop for how to have the best possible time. Festival Safe has it all, with sections devoted to preparing for festivals, camping, crime, alcohol and other drugs, wellbeing and families.

Campsites

We have dedicated management teams in both the Main General Campsites, and one for the Family, Zodiac and Glamping campsites. These are manned 24 hours for any queries or information throughout the Truck weekend.

Leave No Trace

Truck is currently Zero Waste To Landfill event with all wastes either being recycled or recovered for energy from waste. However, we’re asking you to work with us to dispose of what plastic there is on site responsibly.

Here’s what we’ve put in place to work towards eliminating single use plastic at Truck!

  • Truck Festival are very pleased to be part of the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) Take Your Tent Home: Say No To Single Use Plastic campaign. But we urge all Truckers to please take their tent home and/or dispose in the bins provided.
  • We are working with festov
  • Please bring a reusable water bottle! We have water refilling taps at every Toilet block in both the campsites and the main arena
  • We have banned single use plastic cutlery and serveware since 2016
  • All cups bought at are bars are fully compostable, please dispose of these at the bins provided

Gazebos – Are allowed but we cannot accommodate one for every attendee. Please be respectful of your fellow festival goers and understand that in the interest of space you may be asked to take your gazebo down

Bars

We have a number of bars onsite selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Truck operates the ‘Challenge 25’ policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.

We accept the following forms of Identification:

• UK Passport
• Driver’s License or Provisional License

Plus the following cards (part of the PASS Scheme):

• VALIDATE UK
• CitizenCard

Please enjoy alcohol responsibly. Do not buy alcohol for persons under the age of 18, if you do you risk being ejected from the festival.

We accept contactless payments on all bars and merch vendors across the festival.

Mobile Phones

Please protect your phones and belongings while at Truck. Please be advised that phone thieves are known to be targeting large scale music events. Keep your phone in a safe place such as a front pocket. Avoid back pockets or handbags that are easy to enter. Protect your phone by enabling a pin lock and write down all details including imei number and any tracker details (such as activating find my iphone).

Arrange a location to meet your friends if you do lose your phone. Please help us to keep yourselves and your property safe.

Merchandise

Official Truck Festival merchandise will be available within the festival. There will also be limited Artist Merchandise on sale too.

Set Times

Set times will be listed in the festival programmes, available on the merchandise stands. They are also available on the Official Truck Festival App, for free, which can be downloaded on the Google Play and Apple App Store

Lost Property

If you lose something at Truck Festival, go visit the Campsite Managers cabins, where you can go to log what you have lost and try to reclaim anything that has been found. After the festival, you will need to email [email protected] to find out if we have found your belongings when you will be able to drop in to site to collect the lost items.

PLEASE NOTE – items will only be kept 2 weeks after the festival. Following this all items that can be, will be given to local charities. Any lost phones not reunited at the end of the festival will be handed to the Thames Valley Police
Please be alert and keep your belongings safe at all times.

Leaving the Festival

The Campsites will be closed and you must vacate the site by 12:00 (noon) Monday 29th July. Please follow the road signs and listen to staff when leaving by car. Pick Up and Drop Off point will be the same throughout the festival and will be at the top of the site, near the General Campsite.
