Truckin' Guardians Area

Truckin’ Guardians

This year, in partnership with our Welfare Provider our Truckin’ Guardians will be on site offering a safe space that will encourage Truck’s festival-goers to share in our festival ethos, of not only reducing but eradicating sexual assault and harrasment within live events.

Above all, Truck Festival will have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on sexual harassment, reinforced by communications in the lead up to the festival and on the ground across the weekend.

Our approach will be survivor-led, prioritising the rights, wishes and dignity of survivors at all times.

Visit the Truckin’ Guardians tent this year to join in with educational sessions, learn more about how to be an active bystander and share knowledge with experienced and trained staff. Truck will also provide access to helplines, resources and on-site safe spaces for additional support and disclosures should an incident occur.

Our aim is to make Truck Festival a safe and inclusive space that invites everyone – regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality or ability to join the party at Hill Farm. Our fans and the community we have grown make Truck the festival it is today and we ask all festival goers to follow our Truck Ethos at all times.

Our Truckin’ Guardians will be easy to spot across the festival site wearing bright pink T-shirts. This wonderful bunch are on hand to ensure that all festival goers feel supported by trained volunteers who can intervene safely or provide support in case of an incident. As active bystanders Truckin’ Guardians are trained to approach situations in a non-inflammatory way and provide practical support linking to our on site provision.
