💥 TRUCK IS HEADING FOR ANOTHER SELL OUT - DON'T MISS OUT ON TICKETS 💥  /

Guest-List: Abbie Ozard

“Ideally i’d want sad girl bops to take over 2020”

We chatted to one of our absolute favourites at the moment, Abbie Ozard. Asking the Manchester rising indie pop star to pick her current favourites and who to check out at Truck 2020 for a brilliantly named series we like to call Guest-List

But firstly, her newest single ‘Crocodile Tears‘ has been the office favourite all week – well, I say office favourite – I did get shouted at for repeating to much on the speaker..

“I’m glad you like it!!” says Abbie, “they shouldn’t shout at you for that, I need to keep up them streams!”

2020 is proving to be massive for Ozard; she’s currently on tour with Lauran Hibberd, extensive Radio 1 plays as well as a summer of festivals!

“I’m just hoping to release more tunes – the ones I have in the bag are my fave so far – as well as playing a load of gigs so more people” says Ozard, “Ideally I’d want sad girl bops to take over 2020.” Here, here.

“I’m soooo excited [to play Truck]. I’m gassed to play a festival where I love all the other acts playing!” So much so, you may even see her in the mosh herself.. “me and the band will 100% be bopping throughout the day.”

Abbie Ozard has put together an hour and fifteen minutes of current musings, of which you can listen to below, including Clairo and Grimes.

“I love Clairo’s album immunity and ‘Bags’ has been such a huge influential song for me as it reminds me of fun summer times” says Abbie, “I’ve also got a weird Grimes obsession at the moment, she’s such a brave artist and 4am is one of the best dance songs written in my opinion anyways, it’s the kind of tune that just makes you want to have a big party, very sick!!!”

But of course, we asked who should everyone check out at Truck this year – apart for herself of course.

“Everyone deffo needs to make sure they watch Easy Life’s set, their indie R&B bangers are the future”

Check the playlist below and why not give us a follow while you’re at it:
