Do I Need ID?
Yes – if you wish to purchase alcohol you will need to show proof of age. If you are 16 or over and looking to attend the event without an adult please check out all age restrictions and ID requirements on our ID page.
What are the Age Restrictions?
You must be 16 or over to attend the event without an adult of 21+. For more info head to our ID page.
What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 3pm on Thursday 22nd July and 10am on Friday 23rd July – Sunday 25th July 2021. For more info head to our Dates & Times page.
What time is last entry?
The Box Office will close at 11pm Thursday & Friday and 9pm Saturday & Sunday.
What time do the headliners finish?
Headliners will finish at 9pm on Thursday, 11pm Friday and Saturday, and 10:45pm Sunday. However, the other stages will be live until 1-2am each night.
Do you offer Access facilities & PA Tickets?
Truck prides itself on being an inclusive event, for all info head to our Access page.
Do I have to buy a ticket for a child?
Yes – Children aged 12 and under go free but will need an entry ticket added to your booking, see our Ticket Info page.
Do Children need a Zodiac or Thursday ticket?
No – Children 12 and under do not need upgrades purchasing for them, but must be accompanied by a full paying adult holding a Weekend Ticket with the relevant upgrade.
Do you sell day tickets?
No – Day tickets are not available however you are welcome to come and go as you please, the box office is open all weekend.
When will tickets be sent out?
Tickets will be sent out around two weeks prior to the event to the lead booker’s email address. Please be sure to print your tickets out to prevent delays at the gate.
Will I receive physical tickets?
All tickets are now e-tickets and will be sent to the lead booker’s email address around two weeks prior to the event.
Do I have to camp?
No, you are very welcome to come and go from the site each day if camping isn’t for you, but please plan ahead to allow for any event traffic.
I have a converted live in-vehicle, can I bring it?
We only allow converted vehicles if they have living accommodation with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.
Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes – parking passes can be purchased in advance or at the gate for an inflated price. Please head to our Ticket page to purchase.
Can I take alcohol into the arena?
No – no alcoholic drinks can be taken into the arena. Refillable water bottles are permitted and we have numerous water taps in the campsites and arena.
How much alcohol can I bring?
Upon arrival, you are permitted to bring alcohol into the campsite only, enough for personal consumption within reason, read more here. Glass bottles will not be permitted and will be confiscated upon entry.
Is there an electrical hook up in the campervan/caravan field?
No – unfortunately, we do not provide electrical hooks up for campervans or caravans.
Do you have Lost Property?
There are dedicated campsite management cabins within each campsite, please report anything you have lost or anything you find to them. If you notice you have lost something after the event, please email [email protected].
Can I volunteer?
News on volunteering will be coming closer to the event, but we cannot guarantee positions.
Can I bring animals?
In the interests of health and safety only registered assistance dogs are allowed on site.
Can I bring chairs/gazeebos?
Chairs are very welcome in the campsites however in the interests of health and safety no chairs or tables will be permitted in the arena. Gazeebos are not banned but please be mindful of other campers.
Can I bring my camera?
Festival-goers will not be permitted to bring professional cameras onsite. Standard compact cameras will be permitted for personal use, though festival-goers will not be able to bring in cameras with either interchangeable lenses or a lens longer than 6 inches. Any camera with a removable lens, a zoom 3x or greater, or 10MP cameras will be deemed to be professional cameras and will not be permitted. Professional photographers and videographers must apply for press accreditation prior to the event.
What do the different ticket tiers mean?
The ticket tiers are simply different prices and they do not get you any different access. The only ticket that gets you upgraded access are the upgrade tickets.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes – anyone can leave and come back as they please, however, you can only bring alcohol into the campsites on your first entry. Re-entry with alcohol is not permitted. If you are planning on driving to and from the event each day please keep hold of your parking ticket to show as proof of purchase.
I rolled my 2020 tickets over, when will I receive them?
Thanks for rolling your tickets over to 2021, tickets will be sent to the lead bookers email address around two weeks prior to the event.
I rolled my 2020 Payment Plan over, when will my next payment be due?
Thanks for rolling your tickets over to 2021, all payment plan customers have been put on a payment holiday until March 2021.
I rolled my 2020 tickets to 2021 and purchased a 12 & Under ticket but they will no longer be 12 & Under for 2021, will these still be valid?
Thanks for rolling your tickets over to 2021, we are happy to confirm all kids tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be honoured for 2021 even if they are no longer 12 & Under.
I rolled my 2020 tickets over can I get a refund once the 2021 line-up has been announced?
Thanks for rolling over your tickets to 2021, unfortunately we are never able to guarantee the line-up as stated in our Ts & Cs, no refunds will be offered after the 2020 refund period is over.
Will Truck take into account social distancing on site?
Truck will be following government guidelines closely to ensure safe COVID-19 standards are met. We are working with the council and local authorities to ensure the event has procedures in place to keep everyone safe. As government guidance changes regularly, we will be working to ensure the rules and regulations at the event are adapted to the current rules.

After the success of the 2019 event, Truck HQ quickly set about making the 2020 edition one to remember. We were looking forward to making 2020 the best one yet, so for all of this to be put on hold in mid-March was naturally a very frustrating decision to make. With the landscape of 2020 becoming more clear, we decided to postpone the festival, your patience and messages of support meant the world to us through what was a very difficult situation.
After the cancellation of Truck 2020 was announced on 7th May across social media and a mail-out, emails were sent to ticket holders from Kaboodle to confirm the next steps. All customers were either offered a refund or the option to roll over their tickets to 2021.
Customers who wished to rollover their tickets were advised that no further action was needed on their behalf, these tickets would be automatically rolled over to 2021 by Kaboodle.
Refund request forms were emailed to all customers on 14th May 2020, the refund request process was open for two weeks with a deadline of 10pm on 28th May, this was then extended to midnight on 31st May at which point the option to refund the 2020 ticket was closed. All remaining tickets have been transferred to 2021.
