Truck Festival is located at Hill Farm, Steventon, Oxfordshire.

There are a number of ways you can get to us, take a look below!

Coaches

National Express

National Express are our Official Coach Partner for 2024. Save money and book hassle free travel to Truck this year!

Dedicated coaches will take you directly to the festival site, with loads of room for your luggage and camping gear.

We’ve got three routes on offer this year and the timetable provides locations and pick up times from Basingstoke, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Reading, Southampton, Swindon and Winchester!

Taxis

Taxis

We have teamed up with 001 Taxis to provide a Taxi Service throughout Oxfordshire – including all railway stations. These will drop you off at the dedicated Pick Up Drop Off taxi rank point in the General Car Park. They will also be on hand during the weekend to book your travel.

Public Transport

Train

Didcot Parkway Station is on the Great Western Railway line and you can go direct from Reading, London, Bristol and South Wales. There are then connecting Shuttle Buses or taxis direct to the site.

Shuttle Bus

2024 information from Thames Travel  will be shared closer to the event date.

Please see all 2023 prices and information below:

Adult Single- £4.00

Adult Period Return- £6.00

Adult Weekend- £11.00

Just using the bus in one direction, purchase the adult Single, which permits one journey in either direction on the TF1 between Didcot Parkway and Truck Festival.

If you’re using the bus in both directions the Period Return is the ticket for you, allowing a return journey to be made on the TF1 on the first day and returning on the last day of the festival.

We also have the Weekend ticket, which can be used on not only the TF1 service but also the Thames Travel X2 /NX2, X36 and ST1 between Truck Festival and Oxford/Didcot. It allows unlimited travel on these services for the duration of the weekend so is the ideal ticket option for those who like to come and go from the festival site.

Bus

Thames Travel runs a network of bus services to Steventon with a £11 Unlimited Travel offer over the Truck Festival weekend on all X2/NX2, ST1, and X36 services, as well as the special shuttle services that will be running to and from Didcot Parkway.

The X2/NX2 bus links Oxford Rail Station, Oxford city Centre, Abingdon, Didcot to Steventon High Street every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Timetable available here use bus stop ‘The Green’.

The X36 bus links Wantage, Grove, Didcot to Steventon High Street every 30 minutes on Monday-Saturday. Timetable available here use bus stop ‘The Green’.

The ST1 operates a fast link between Oxford and Milton Heights, near the festival site every 30 minutes on Mondays to Fridays. Timetable available here use bus stop Milton Heights Turn.

Both the X2 and X36 buses are often busy, and the high street is a 20-minute walk from the festival.

By Car

For those of you with a handy sat-nav, or a good old fashioned map, getting here couldn’t be easier.  If you’re travelling from the South of the festival on the A34, please use the Chilton Interchange. For those travelling from the North of the festival or from Didcot, please use the Milton Interchange.

Parking

Our Car Park(s) are adjacent to the campsites. To encourage people to share vehicles, and reduce the impact of cars on the farm, we have a charge for parking. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the door but at a higher price, so book in advance to save some monies.

Once parked, we encourage you not to leave the car park during the festival due to our traffic management plan in place.

We have a pick-up and drop off point for those people giving someone a lift – please follow the pickup and drop off road signs.

To enable you to park at the appropriate side of the site to where you are camping there are two travel routes into the festival the RED ROUTE and PURPLE ROUTE.

All General Weekend, Campervan and Glamping customers MUST follow road signage with a RED SQUARE to enter the Red Car Park. You can navigate to the Car Park using this link: RED ROUTE NAVIGATION

All Family,Zodiac Fields, Pitch Village and Access Customers MUST enter through the Purple Route via Steventon High Street following road signs marked with a PURPLE SQUARE on approach to the Festival.

Pick up & Drop off

The Pick Up / Drop Off is located in the Main Car Park and is ONLY accessible by following the directional signage with a GREEN SQUARE. You can navigate to the gate using this link: PICK UP/DROP OFF ROUTE NAVIGATION

On the Day Parking

If you are planning to park on the day of your arrival please follow RED ROUTE NAVIGATION. 

 

Please Note: You will be charged £35 on arrival to the car park if you do not purchase a parking ticket in advance.
