Truck is an event for all people, regardless of race, gender, orientation or physical ability. If something or someone makes you feel uncomfortable – no matter how small it seems – you can report it to a member of festival staff and they will work with you to make sure it doesn’t have to spoil the festival for you. Respect your fellow festival-goers and look out for each other. If you see someone behaving badly towards other people, please alert a member of festival staff.
Entry into Truck is subject to body and/or bag search. We reserve the right to confiscate items and or remove persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner or carrying out illegal activities onsite.
We have on site 24hr security and stewards who are there watching over things so that everyone can enjoy the festival as much as possible. Friendly but firm if you need them. They are there to protect you but promise to always be approachable and fair.
Please look after all your valuables during your time at the festival. Remember, your possessions are your responsibility, so only bring what you need – the less stuff you need to keep an eye on, the better.
Bag searches will be conducted upon entry. Anyone found to be in possession of banned substances or items will be refused entry and the appropriate legal action will be taken. In this instance, no refunds will be issued. A list of these prohibited items can be found below:
All bags are subject to search on entry. Please allow plenty of time for queues, entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.
16 & Over
Anyone 16 or over is welcome to attend the festival on their own without an adult, however, you will be asked to show proof of age on entry to access the event.
We accept the following forms of ID:
Please note we cannot accept other forms of ID. Photocopies will only be accepted to gain entry but the real document will have to be shown to purchase alcohol.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 21 + to enter the festival.
Challenge 25 Policy
A challenge 25 policy will be in place for all alcohol sales on site.
If you look under 25, you will need a valid photo ID to be served alcohol.
We operate a Prevent, Pursue, Protect policy. This means, Prevent illegal drugs from getting onto the site, Pursue anyone suspected of supplying illegal drugs, Protect the festival-goers.
Truck has a zero-tolerance drug policy. Any illegal drugs will be confiscated and the police may decide to prosecute. New psychoactive substances, Poppers, and Nitrous Oxide are also strictly prohibited and may result in ejection from the event. Searches are a condition of entry to the festival.

What to do in an Emergency
If you witness or are a victim of a crime at the event, please inform a member of our staff, stewards or security personnel who will be easily identifiable on site. The quicker an incident is reported, the quicker we can act.
If you need to contact the Thames Valley Police to report a non-emergency crime or to provide information on a crime while at the festival, please call 101. In the unlikely event that you are unable to find a member of staff or security, please call 999.
Drinks & Food
Festival-goers are permitted to bring food and drink into the campsites, but not into the main arena. You are welcome to bring in an empty water bottle in the main arena, free drinking water is provided across the site.

We want everyone to have a great time at Truck in the safest way possible. Anyone 18 years and over can bring in enough alcohol for personal consumption. Personal Consumption is the amount of alcohol that Truck Festival and its representatives deem to be appropriate for the customer in question, treated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to confiscate any alcohol we deem not to be appropriate for the customer in question.
Please drink responsibly, we really want all our festival-goers to stay safe at this year’s festival. Please don’t take any risks.
Truck is situated on Greenfield farm land, as such, conditions during adverse weather may become hazardous. Please ensure you bring appropriate footwear and clothing to cater for the possibility of wet, muddy and slippery conditions.

Event stewards are here to help you. Don’t be worried about asking for help in any situation, whether it’s asking for directions or to report something or someone you’re worried about.
Admission to the event is at Ticket Holder’s risk. Truck Festivals UK Ltd and the Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the actions of other patrons or thirds parties or force majeure.

Smoking is not allowed in the marquees but is everywhere else on the site. Please try to throw your stubs in the bins though – we’ve yet to find someone who enjoys picking them up!
We have a dedicated highly trained first aid team on site 24/7. If you’ve got any injuries or concerns about your welfare they are more than willing to help.
The site fencing is in place to protect everyone at the event. Tampering with it is forbidden and may result in ejection from the event.
Aerosols are allowed on site but please be sensible and respectful to your fellow festival goers. Misuse can result in ejection from the festival.
