Sadie

Sadie, an up-and-coming artist from Oxford, writes indie-pop songs about what life is like throughout adolescence and adulthood. She debuted with the single “He Told Me to Go” during the 2020 lockdown and has since released an EP and more songs, the most recent of which is “Golden Pedestal,” an energetic pop-rock song about post-breakup rumours and the feelings they arouse.

Sadie began creating songs in 2017, teaching herself to play guitar and ukulele and creating heartfelt music influenced mostly by Phoebe Bridgers and Lizzy McAlpine.

Sadie studied Creative Musicianship at university in London and has performed pub gigs and posted her songs on social media, but as a Truck Festival veteran for 15 years, it was her ambition for Truck to be her first festival concert, so she is extremely pleased to present her music there.
