The antidote to all the industry plants of alt pop, South Arcade are bringing real, poster wall worthy bands back to the forefront of the alternative/pop scene with their nostalgic, coming of age sound. South Arcade takes influence from artists as wide as Radiohead, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon and No Doubt. With the band’s front woman Harmony Cavelle evocative of a young Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne with regards to voice and staple attire. South Arcade have already cultivated a global following after utilising the power of Instagram reels and TikTok where they have amassed a following of 230k and multiple viral videos on both platforms with a total of 2.2 million likes on tiktok alone. The band’s genesis began in 2021 where they met at University and began writing a plethora of tracks and achieving online success, the four piece now live together in Oxford. They have already received radio attention from BBC Radio 1 Gemma Bradley, Jack Saunders, Alyx Holcombe and Nels Hylton, BBC Oxford and BBC Oxford introducing and have played up and down the UK on support tours and festivals. They have their own headlines shows early autumn, this follows their recent supports with Yours Truly, Lozeak and RØR.
