Joe Hastings of ‘Music Minds Matter’ joins Sunny to discuss industry instability, mental health, creativity x pressure, advice and the 24/7 support available to Musicians.
How to Break Into The Industry – Sunny is joined by Maria Torres (Artist Management), Rees Hitchcock (Creative Marketing) and Katie Tavini (Mastering Engineer) to discuss how they got started in Music, lessons learned, how the Industry needs to change, and a chance to put your questions to the panel.
Young Women’s Music Project: Changing Music Herstory – Want to be part of tackling inequality in the music industry? Come to this participatory workshop, designed by young people from the Young Women’s Music Project, to hear and share stories of discrimination in the music industry, work together to come up with a manifesto, and be part of starting to make systemic change! This event is open to everyone, of all genders and ages.
Young Women’s Music Project: Beyond Buzzwords – We can work together to rebuild our music scenes, so that everyone has access to the opportunities, support and resources they need to create new music. But how do we make sure that this change centres people who are marginalised currently? How do you go beyond tokenism and buzzwords? Join this workshop, designed and led by the participants of Young Women’s Music Project, to explore how you can use the power you have to make a meaningful impact. This event is open to everyone, of all genders and ages.
