Truck Festival 2020 will no longer be taking place

We’d like to start by saying how eternally grateful the whole team is for all the support and messages you’ve given us through this difficult period, it’s been a tough time for all of us and we’d like to thank you for your patience.

We’ve tried every possible avenue to make this year’s show a possibility. However, regrettably, we have to let you know; after a full review with the relevant local authorities; and with the best interests and safety of our festival-goers, artists, staff, the emergency services and our suppliers, in mind; we are truly devastated to confirm that Truck Festival will not be able to take place this year.

Looking forward, we’ve got a new date for your diaries, Truck will now take place on the 23rd – 25th July 2021.

The good news is we’re pleased to confirm that tickets, upgrades and glamping for this year’s festival will automatically be rolled over to 2021. So if you want to attend next year, no further action is required.

If, for any reason at all, you’re not able to join us for the new dates, you’ll be able to claim a refund on all tickets, upgrades and glamping. We’re working closely with our ticketing partners and they will be in touch with instructions on the next steps within 7 days.

Thank you again for your continued support, it really does help the festival keep going year after year and Truck would be absolutely nothing without you guys. We also want to offer our thanks and gratitude from the whole team for the continued dedication and hard work of all at the NHS, key workers and volunteers in trying to combat this horrible pandemic.

Rest assured we’re now putting our absolute all into planning the best Truck you’ve ever seen and can’t wait to welcome you in July 2021.

For now, keep safe, keep healthy and look after each other.

Much Love

FAQ’s

Is Truck Festival taking place in 2020?

Unfortunately, Truck 2020 has been moved to 23-25 July 2021.

Are my Truck Festival 2020 tickets valid for next year?

If you wish to rollover your current tickets and upgrades, (including Glamping / Car Parking / Campervan / Zodiac Fields / Thursday Entry) you will not be required to do anything further, as all tickets purchased for 2020 will be honoured for 2021 at the same price.

If you have purchased a Payment Plan ticket and you wish to rollover to next year, you will be automatically entered into a payment holiday period where you won’t be required to make any further payments until March 2021.

We're happy to confirm that we will honour your child tickets at their 2020 price even if they turn 13 before the 2021 event. We will make note that you rolled over your ticket from 2020 so that our staff are aware on the gates.

Unfortunately, I can’t attend Truck 2021. Am I entitled to a refund?

In the unfortunate event you can no longer make the rescheduled dates for Truck in 2021, we can confirm that you are able to request a refund for the full face value of your entry tickets, upgrades and official accommodation. Please note that we are not able to refund booking fees or Ticket Protection as this service has already been fulfilled.

You should have received an email from Kaboodle with full instructions on how to claim your refund by Thursday 14th of May. This will have been sent to the lead booker’s email address, as only they can process this refund request.
If you wish to get part of your order refunded please make sure that you have specified this during the refund process.

You will have 14 days to request your refund and all refunds requests must be made within this timeframe by 5pm on Thursday 28th of May.

Due to the unprecedented scale of the impact on the events industry from COVID 19 and the cumulative effect of all events processing refunds simultaneously the time frame to receive your refund will be up to 30 working days from your request. All parties involved are working incredibly hard to expedite the process to ensure everyone who requests a refund receives it as quickly as possible. We ask that you are patient as our ticket outlets work hard to process an unprecedented number of enquiries.

Please note we can only refund tickets purchased through Kaboodle. Any ancillary costs such as travel and Non-Truck specific accommodation will not be reimbursed by Truck. We recommend you contact the companies you have purchased this from instead.

I haven’t purchased a ticket for Truck 2020 but I would like to attend the festival next year. When are Truck 2021 tickets on sale?

Following the refund period, we will review allocations and announce an on-sale date and time via our social media channels.

To be the first to know of announcements such as ticket on sales please sign up to our mailing list below.

Will the Truck Line up for 2021 be the same as this year?

Unfortunately given the current circumstances, we cannot guarantee the exact same line up as in 2020 at this time. Rest assured next years line up will be our strongest to date. We're already making plans to ensure that Truck 2021 is the best year yet.

I haven’t received an email from my ticket outlet?

Please note this will be sent to the lead booker’s email address, as only they can process this refund request.

The email should have been sent to you by Thursday 14th of May. Please check your spam or junk folders as occasionally these emails get flagged as such.

I have requested a refund but have not heard back from the ticket outlet yet?

All refunds should be processed up to 30 working days from the refund request date. Please note that partially refunding an event is a time-consuming manual process. We have spoken at length with our ticketing agencies who are operating on a finite amount of staff resource with a huge and unprecedented workload.

They have requested that we ask you not to call and chase refund requests once submitted as every email and call within the 30 working days will further slow their team’s ability to process the workload they have.

Please find a statement requesting “patience & kindness” from the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers below.

“The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers asks ticket buyers to be patient and kind, not to flood contact centres with calls and emails and to wait for ticket sellers to contact them regarding exchanges and refunds.”
