Idles is a British punk rock band from Bristol in 2009. The current line-up consists of Joe Talbot (vocals), Adam Devonshire (bass), Lee Kiernan (guitar), Jon Beavis (drums) and Devonte Hynes (guitar). Their sound has been described as “a mix of post-punk and hardcore punk with elements of British folk music”.
The band are renowned for their energetic live performances and have toured extensively throughout Europe and the US. They have also performed at some of the world’s biggest music festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Primavera Sound and SXSW.
