We’re The Kokroachez, are a young 4 piece, female fronted alternative rock band from Oxfordshire. We’re known for our high energy performances and catchy songs. We formed in primary school but have really exploded onto the Oxford scene in the last 2 years. Since then, we’ve headlined the o2 Academy Oxford, The Bullingdon and the legendary Klub Kakofany. This summer, we’ve been invited to headline GloFest, the biggest outdoor festival in Oxford and are planning a winter tour to coincide with our debut album release. Our first ep, Pest Control has had over 15000 streams and our latest single Heroes and Gods, released at the end of February, has already had over 6000 streams. Our social media has got great engagement with several of our reels having more than a million plays. In June, one of our songs will be featured on a vinyl compilation of breaking artists. We’re all studying music performance and production at Oxford City College and are passionate about a career writing and performing. We’ve recently been described by BBC Introducing as “Kick-Ass” and “the best young band since Max Blansjaar”. Melting Pot Radio said “the last time we were so excited about a young band was seeing a band called Elizabeth – they went on to become Foals”. We have single releases planned in May and September and our debut album is due out in December.
